St. Marry Church Radcliff square

]]> University church St. Marry the Virgin in Radcliffe square (Oxford, UK) was used from the early 14th century by the university for meetings, examinations, degree ceremonies and to house its library, treasury and archives. Begun in 1320 it's two story Congression House (which faces Radcliff Square) is the oldest existing University building in Europe. It was in this church too that the Protestant bishops Cranmer, Latimer and Ridley were tried to heresy in 1555/56 before being burnt at the stake in Broad Street.

Radcliffe Camera

]]> The Radcliffe Camera (Camera is the Latin word for room) in Radcliffe square (Oxford, England) was built by James Gibbs between 1737 and 1749 to house the Radcliffe Science Library. The building was funded by a bequest from Physician and former Oxford scholar Dr. John Radcliffe by John Radcliffe, who died in 1714, and it was Nicholas Hawksmoor who came up with the idea of making the building round.
I have also some shots from the other side of the square showing the church which I'll post later on!

]]> After some delay I'm back agiain with more pictures from Sardinia! This picture is showing the beach in SPIAGGIA LA PELOSA, STINTINO (Sardinia, Italy) as seen from the middle of the water! (I took this shot from a pedal boat as well as one I have previously posted).

Capture of Moment

]]> I took another photo with the same composition months ago, with a bed of red tulips instead. Today, right around sunset, I steped back, watched this elegant mixture of beauty and thought to myself: the dead stone is giving the best reflection! Life is truly unpredictable!

]]> As I promissed in previous post this is one of the beautifull beaches in Sardinia, SPIAGGIA LA PELOSA, STINTINO (Sardinia, Italy). If you're wondering how did I take the picture, I was on a pedal boat. I'm gonna post some more shots from the same place soon!

]]> Here is a shot from beaches in Sardinia (Sardegna in Italian) in Italy. Sardinia has got some very famous beaches including Emerald Coast (Costa Smeralda). I took this shot from the airplane. Ths clear sky made it possible to take this shot! I will also post some shots from down there, showing the clear water.

]]> This is Laach lake (I had two other posts from the same lake), there was a tower in the region to see the surroundings! This shot is made from the top of the tower.

Castle

]]> This is another medieval castle in the same region as previous few posts in Germany. we stopped on our way to Burg Eltz to have lunch in a nice restaurant located near this castle.
In this part of Germany there are lost of castles, most of which near rivers and on top of hills.
Hmmm as far as I am not recieving any feedbacks, I reckon that everyone likes my pictures!

]]> This was a lake in the same regoin as Burg Eltz, It is called the Laach lake - (it is close to the famous monastery of Maria Laach).
The weather was quite humid that's why the background is sort of fade (that's what I like about this picture!).

Burg Eltz

]]> Burg Eltz is a medieval castle nestled in the hills above the Mosel River between Koblenz and Trier, Germany. It is still owned by a branch of the same family that lived there in the 12th century.
Some parts of castle are open for visitors (But it's not allowed to take any pictures).
We walked for almost an hour to get to the castle (which was really fun).
